Maurice Tan has more than 27 years of Human Resource Management experience in various industries such as trading, manufacturing, engineering, oil & gas, aerospace, and construction. He has been in the capacity of Head of the Human Resources department in the last 17 years. In his current job with an European MNC, he is the Senior Regional Human Resource Manager covering countries in South East Asia such as Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam.

Maurice has established himself as a strong Human Resources Management generalist with focus on Human Resources Management set-up and enhancement as well as change management. He has very good knowledge and hand-on experience in the development and implementation of:

He has implemented many Human Resources initiatives aimed at improving the quality of work life within the organisation, increasing productivity of employees and promoting continuous improvements in many multi-national corporations he has worked with. These initiatives are well accepted by both the employers and employees and that till today are standing testimonials of his philosophy in creating a more people-friendly working environment in each of these organisations.

Maurice is a strong advocator of good human resources practices and the need to elevate the human resource management function as a strategic business partner of the organisation. He has conducted training in Human Resource Management academic courses, Payroll Administration and Flexible Benefits programmes as well as workshops in Human Resource Management.

Maurice holds a Bachelor of Business (Human Resources Management) and a professional Diploma in Personnel Management.
