Evaluating Training Effectiveness 15 March 2012, This one day workshop is designed to assist the HR Professional assess and evaluate the training effectiveness. It looks at the how we work to establish the outcomes we expect from the training and then how to develop measurements for ensuring that the training is effective, both on the day and in the longer term on the job. The course assumes that you are familiar with undertaking Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and with developing or delivering training programs. Training is an investment in the performance of the individual and the company and needs to be approached as an investment. What is the performance you expect from the training? Where should you see the growth? How should the training improve performance? These are all questions, which a good training evaluation will answer. What Participants can expect: A highly participatory program with lots of discussion, sample courses to evaluate and tips to take back to the training environment. To get the most out of the course, participants should have some training background or knowledge and they should bring with them, a copy of a training program they are familiar with. Please bring your company’s current training evaluations forms / programs and any other materials, reports or spreadsheets they use to access training needs and develop training materials.
