Certified Human Resources Administrator Course Trainers Nicholas Sim has more than twenty-five years of broad-based experience in Human Resource Management and had headed both generalist and specialist HR functions as Manager, Regional Manager, Vice President and Divisional Director. His HR experience spans across varied industries as in Commerce, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Retail, Banking, and the University sector. Nicholas was also a council member of a local institute for several years, and was an active member of their Industrial Relations Committee, regularly giving clinical advice to member companies and individual members. Nicholas is an accredited Senior Human Resource Professional, Trainer, Facilitator, Coach, and a director of an Executive Search firm. He has conducted numerous public and client in-house workshops and courses. He is also an adjunct lecturer with various educational institutes and universities and taught various HR modules and Organizational Behaviour. On the subject of the Employment Act & Employment Practices, Nicholas has conducted many workshops for HR practitioners and line managers and supervisors. Michelle Luehman, has worked in Asia for 16 years and has had a varied career in the training and development arena, as well as working as a Country Manager and Regional Director in the Asia Pacific and globally for different multinationals. She is an accomplished facilitator and professional trainer with 18 years experience in training design and delivery in the private and public sectors. Michelle specializes in the Service, IT, Banking, Manufacturing and Retail sectors of the market. She has delivered training programs, workshops and developed training manuals for many of the world’s most eminent companies, customers include Coles Myer, Cathay Pacific, Qantas, Microsoft, Accenture, Unilever, Carrefour, DBS – Vickers, OCBC bank, Starhub, SPH Media and Phillips. Having combined a training and development career with line management and HR, she knows from a personal experience the mistakes you can make in talent management and sourcing and how crucial it is to ensure that you actively stay on top of the needs of the organisation and what is happening in the market place. Janarthanan Selvarajoo has more than 10 years of experience with the Ministry of Manpower and has held the positions of Director Employment Inspectorate, Deputy Controller of Work Permits, Assistant Commissioner for Labour and Head Labour Court. He has worked closely with several industry associations, agencies and regulatory government agencies, and established himself as a highly knowledgeable and experienced HR Management practitioner with hands-on experience including development and implementation regulatory policies, labour standards, review of employment trends, promotion of best practices and education on employment laws. Janar holds a Bachelor of Business in Management & Marketing, Higher Diploma in Business Studies and a Diploma in Business Administration & Marketing. He is now actively giving large-scale presentation to associations, organisations and companies from various industries on topics pertaining to Foreign Manpower Management, Employment Act and Labour Standards. Arnold Chan has over 20 years of organization development critical experiences while working at three global organisations with a strong Pan Asia presence. He has lead several strategic initiatives ranging from balanced scorecard performance management system and regional competency development framework to talent management programmes in this region. While at Standard Chartered Bank, he was a lead facilitator for their global future leaders programme. As a certified Gallup strengths coach he engaged senior managers and high potentials to help them discover their signature themes and align them to business priorities. Arnold was instrumental in spearheading key HR programmes aligned to the Business Excellence framework that led Standard Chartered Bank to achieve the prestigious Asia Human Capital Award for Talent Management. At DBS Bank, Arnold lead the HR balanced scorecard implementation, delivered performance coaching and review workshops for Vice Presidents and senior managers across the Group. Prior this, he was the Fuji Xerox country representative and HR working committee leader in developing the Asia Pacific Competency Development System. Arnold also revised the performance appraisal system at Fuji Xerox Singapore to meet the People Developer Standard. As a result Fuji Xerox was accorded 6 stars in the People Developer Standard award. Besides Singapore, he has developed executives from USA, India, Hong Kong, China, Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia. Arnold holds an MBA and a BBA with Distinction and he is also a Certified Strengths Coach. Haridas Ramadas (Hari) is the Founder & CEO of HRSINGAPORE®. An experienced trainer and consultant in Human Resource Management and Communication skills, Hari has worked in Singapore and overseas in the banking, trading and service industries and has 18 years experience in training and consulting. His experience includes conducting public programmes, as well as in-house programmes for GMP, KLM Cargo, Pan United, Courts, Centrepoint Properties, Humming House, Brunei Shell, CPF Board and MINDEF. Born and bred in Singapore, Hari holds a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Singapore and a Diploma in Education from the National University of Singapore. Maurice Tan has more than 27 years of Human Resource Management experience in various industries such as trading, manufacturing, engineering, oil & gas, aerospace, and construction. He has been in the capacity of Head of the Human Resources department in the last 17 years. In his current job with an European MNC, he is the Senior Regional Human Resource Manager covering countries in South East Asia such as Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam. Maurice has established himself as a strong Human Resources Management generalist with focus on Human Resources Management set-up and enhancement as well as change management. Susan conducts various programmes, ranging from personal development to leadership. She has conducted programmes on 7 Habits of Highly Effective People Leadership Development, Competency-Based Interview and teambuilding. She is also certified as a DISC Behavioural Consultant, NLP Practitioner and WSQ-ESS programme facilitator. Having been in the role of a Senior Human Resource Practitioner with management responsibilities, Susan has leadership and facilitation experience. As such, she is able to share and impart her knowledge and experience in areas like interviewing skills, performance management and people management.
